Previous Audubon Advocate Journal Headlines
March 5th, 2010 Although March is known as the month of basketball, some Audubon students have other plans. DES MOINES — The Wheelers showed that they belong and that they have heart. DES MOINES — The storybook tale keeps growing for the Vikettes. DES MOINES— Hallie Christofferson brought energy to Well’s Fargo Arena. February 26th, 2010 ELK HORN — Exira knew what postseason play was all about. ELK HORN— It’s not quite March, but the Madness has begun. ATLANTIC— A perfect regular season was followed with a perfect run through the Regional Tournament, and now, Exira is headed back to the State Tournament for the second time in three years. The years of the Vikings running up and down their home court is now nothing but a memory. Former Elk Horn-Kimballton basketball player and current coach at Guthrie Center, Seth Poldberg, said he has high hopes for his former team when he was at a game in Audubon last Saturday night, Feb. 6.
